Preamble
To participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion. To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion Members who share the same interests. To use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.

American Legion Riders Poker Run |

The American Legion Riders Poker Run was held on Tuesday 5-13-08 we had 110 Bikes ride in the event, we started at approximately 8 am with breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, gravy, toast & biscuits at the post till around 10 am. Our thanks to the cooks.....The first bike out was at 9:30 am, our first stop was down 17 S in Georgetown, S C at the Rebar Lounge were we got our first bead, after a few drinks we headed out Hwy 701 N to Bucksport Marina where we had Catfish Stew (very interesting) and other refreshments we got our 3rd bead here. It was a nice sunny day, we left there and proceeded to Conway, S C to Doyle's Tavern on Hwy 544 for our 4th bead and after some socializing and good cheer we proceeded back to Murrells Inlet to the post to draw our hand and have a cook out. We had Hotdog's, Burgers, Beans & Slaw..A good time was had by all......!!!! |
